In addition to his Shamanic Dance workshop, we are also pleased to have Bob Hillary bringing his music to the Village Stage on New Years Eve. Bob is a folk singer-songwriter from the UK, who makes music that is Earthy, funky & positive, with a strong world music influence. He plays a fusion of folk, reggae, soul & world music blended into one sound.
He uses stomp box to make his beats, his wife sings beautiful deep harmonies and also plays percussion adding to the sound. He uses loops and dubs to fill out the folky sound adding a reggae dimension to it.
The sound is full, intricate & mellow dancey.
