Zenthai Shiatsu Therapy

We are really delighted to confirm that ANANDA will be joining the Healing Hub this year offering the amazing Zenthai Shiatsu Therapy
Zenthai Shiatsu is an integration of Zen Shiatsu, Traditional Thai massage and osteopathic technique, underpinned by the five elements of Chinese medicine. Beneath the surface there is also an invitation to a brand new conversation between two bodies: the simple intention is to let go of the fixations that bind us in pain or limited movement, moving us into a new harmonious, un-fixated freedom.
Gwyn Williams, founder of Zen Thai Shiatsu says:
Zenthai becomes part of your celebratory journey, irrespective of your role as a giver or receiver of sacred offerings. The invitation from me to you is simply to absorb the three jewels of attention, intention and presence. There is no such thing as an ordinary moment when we begin this dance together

Ananda is a Zenthai Shiatsu therapist and embodies this practice in his lifestyle. Formally trained in Australia and Bali under founder Gwyn Williams, Ananda's comprehensive offerings include movement-based therapy, remedial and acupressure point work. Sessions can incorporate flying therapeutics, lifestyle support and yoga asana advice that simply allows a deeper conversation and connection for the healing process to unfold. After 15 years of practising various forms of yoga and extensive training locally and internationally.
Ananda believes that this modality is another incredible opportunity to create conscious connections by simply listening with presence to what is being communicated, allowing the fluidity and totality to unfold and then sharing from a genuine place we call heartfulness. Namaste'

We are thrilled to announce that MARIE PIGNOLET will be sharing her profound teachings in the workshop SOMATIC EXERCISES AND BREATHING
Breathing is the first function of life. Inadequate breathing leads to stress in body & mind, which can lead to sicknesses mentally, emotionally and physically. When we learn to breathe properly we can become relaxed healthy and happy.
Marie will teach easy technics to achieve "deep, slow and regular" breathing. (Patanjali Yoga Sutras).

Adding in somatic exercises, by slow, smooth and conscious movements will help to improve the posture, which is primordial for efficient breathing.
The workshop will cover the main points and equip you with simple but profound tools which can help you become the master of your own life.
Marie is originally from France and lived for 15 years in the Auroville community in South India teaching breathing to people from all over the World. Her teachings are based on Yoga, Pranayama, Chikong and Vipassana. Breathing with Somatic exercise combines two interesting technics to help improve circulation of energies and our overall health and awareness of the body, the fundamental steps for meditation.

We are happy and excited to announce that we have Lucia Kowhai Vink presenting her Experimental Soul Feeding Clay Massage workshop.
Kowhai invites us to come and feed our whole self and be nourished with the amazing healing power of clay. This deliciously tasty healing workshop will feed the body, relax the mind, nourish the soul and bring us back into full contact body with our great mama pacha.
Kowhai is a wanderer and an explorer and on the path of learning how to be true to herself and balance all sides of who she is. She believes learning is shared and that we are all each other's teachers. Her journey with clay has been a short but in-depth one. She began by building and sculpting with it and instantly fell in love with this playful material and saw the opportunity to use it for healing and cleansing.
This experimental clay massage is about combining all aspects of healing with clay. Its also about not taking ourselves too seriously and getting a bit (or very!) muddy while massaging, cleansing, loving and caring for our bodies. Come and join her in nourishing the mind, body, soul and child.

We are seriously delighted to announce that we have NEGIN DASTGHIEB in our HEALING HUB this year offering one2one ART IS THERAPY sessions.

Those of you at the last MIX will remember her as our barista extraordinaire! Negin is currently in her final year of studying Masters of Arts Therapy at Whitecliffe College of Arts and Design and has already facilitated many one2one sessions as part of her course learning and continued assessment. Through working as an artist for the past five years she has a strong knowledge and respect for art and sees us all as creative beings.

Arts therapy utilises the creative process to access inner realms and assist in revealing subconscious messages. Bringing the internal into the external allows for deeper clarity, understandings and offers a potential for transformation. Negin works by using internal imagery to assist with shifting emotional energies. Arts Therapy is suitable for all ages.

Negin is also interested in transpersonal psychology and shamanic practices.
