Village Stage Line-up:
Mad Hallelujah Tribe
International collective Mad Hallelujah Tribe travels the globe inviting audiences to join them on journeys of ecstatic, heartfelt, intricately crafted "Mystic Glory Folk."
Inspired by the wilderness, mystical & psychedelic experiences, and epic jams on the ramblin' road, their songs feature deep lyricism, big vocal harmonies & sing-along chants, infectious grooves, soaring string solos, and healthy doses of weirdness, humour, and improvisation. “Musical medicine, deeply tangible immersive gypsy folk, inducing uncontrollable limb flailing and feet stomping. Raw. Personal. Shamanic Ecstasy.” - Jake Graffy, Dancer, UK |
Mudwood
MudWood music is timeless and ageless. Crossing boundaries of cultures, weaving sweet harmonies with powerful and transformational lyrics, Amira and Jo MudWood are an acoustic, multi-instrumental duo. At times adding other elements to the MudWood sound. “With their gentle, love-lingering themes, haunting melodies and captivating, faultlessly elegant musical prowess, MudWood make music that is younger than Springtime . . . yet older than the hills. As a Sixties musician, Music Therapist and Sound Healer, I’m also inclined to observe that their beautifully-crafted live performance has the capacity to relax the mind and massage away the aching strains of everyday life’s pulled muscles quite like no other.All-in-all, MudWood get into the blood.” ~ Dr Les Willmore, Earth Holme. 31 October, 2014. |

The album is designed to provoke dialogue about such issues as mental health, diversity and social change, with live shows presenting the songs as a narrative that shadows a journey of recovery and discovery. Listeners can expect equal measures of blunt honesty, self-effacing humour and incisive social commentary and are positively encouraged to join the conversation. |
